By accessing and using ArakStudy ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ArakStudy's website, platform, and services. By using our Service, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

Company Information: ArakStudy is operated by NEXORA AI LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), a limited liability company. All references to ArakStudy in these Terms refer to the service provided by NEXORA AI LLC.

2. Description of Service

ArakStudy is an AI-powered study platform that allows users to upload course materials (primarily PDF documents, including scanned PDFs), generate AI-powered summaries, create flashcards, extract key points, visualize concept relationships through knowledge graphs, generate citations and references, add personal notes, bookmark favorite documents, and share documents with others.

We provide both free and paid (Pro) subscription tiers with different features and usage limits as described on our pricing page. All users (Free and Pro) can use document sharing, favorites, and personal notes features.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of our Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason we deem necessary to protect the integrity of our Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload any content that violates copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights
• Upload malicious software, viruses, or any harmful code
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
• Abuse the free tier by creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits
• Share your account credentials with others
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Share documents containing copyrighted material without proper authorization
• Use shared document links to distribute content that violates these Terms or applicable laws
• Attempt to bypass read-only restrictions on shared documents

5. Content and Intellectual Property

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of any documents and content you upload to our Service. By uploading content, you grant us a license to use, process, and store your content solely for the purpose of providing our Service to you.

5.2 Our Content

All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by NEXORA AI LLC and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5.3 AI-Generated Content

Summaries, flashcards, concept knowledge graphs, citations, references, and other AI-generated content created by our Service are provided for educational purposes. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of AI-generated content. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any AI-generated materials, including citations, references, and concept relationships.

OCR Processing: For scanned PDFs, we use OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology to extract text. OCR accuracy may vary depending on document quality, and we do not guarantee 100% accuracy in text extraction from scanned documents.

Shared Content: When you share documents using our sharing feature, viewers can access read-only versions of your documents. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share the content. We are not responsible for how shared content is used by viewers.

6. Subscription and Payment

6.1 Free Tier

Our free tier allows limited use of the Service with the following limits:

• 2 documents per week (6 documents per month maximum)
• 5 flashcards per document
• Maximum file size: 10 MB per document
• Comprehensive AI summaries with 15-20 key points and all summary sections (Learning Objectives, Concepts, Examples, Relationships, Study Tips, FAQ, Takeaways)
• 10 AI chat messages per day
• Standard processing speed
• Document favorites/bookmarks
• Personal notes on documents
• Document sharing with short links and QR codes
• Basic concept knowledge graph (limited concepts)
• OCR support for scanned PDFs (limited pages)
• Automatic citations and references

Free tier usage limits are enforced to prevent abuse and ensure fair access for all users.

6.2 Pro Subscription

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly at $15.00 per month. By subscribing, you agree to pay the subscription fee and authorize us to charge your payment method automatically each billing cycle. Pro tier includes:

• Unlimited documents per week and month
• Unlimited flashcards per document
• Maximum file size: 50 MB per document
• Enhanced AI summaries with 25-30 key points, all summary sections, plus Advanced Analysis, Practice Questions, and Deep Insights
• Unlimited AI chat messages
• Practice exams (unlimited)
• Priority processing for faster document analysis
• 3 summary regenerations per document
• PDF download with watermark
• Advanced concept knowledge graph with unlimited concepts and mastery tracking
• Unlimited OCR processing for scanned PDFs
• Document favorites/bookmarks
• Personal notes on documents
• Document sharing with short links and QR codes
• Automatic citations and references with multiple formats
• 24/7 priority support

6.3 Priority Processing

Priority Processing is an optional add-on service available to both Free and Pro users. Priority Processing allows you to skip the processing queue and have your documents analyzed immediately. Priority Processing is sold as one-time purchases:

• Single Boost: $2.00 for 1 document
• Pack of 3: $5.00 for 3 documents (Save $1 - Best Value)
• Pack of 10: $10.00 for 10 documents (Save $10)

Priority Processing boosts never expire and can be used at any time. Once purchased, boosts are non-refundable except as required by law or in cases of technical issues that prevent their use.

6.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to Pro features until the end of the billing period for which you have already paid.

6.5 Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods. Priority Processing purchases are non-refundable once used, except in cases of technical issues. For more details, see our Refund Policy.

7. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable and continuous access to our Service. However, we do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times. We may experience downtime due to maintenance, updates, or unforeseen circumstances.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies or errors, and you use such content at your own risk.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ARAKSTUDY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NEXORA AI LLC, ArakStudy, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which NEXORA AI LLC operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
