1. Introduction
This Refund Policy ("Policy") describes the refund and cancellation terms for subscriptions to ArakStudy services provided by NEXORA AI LLC ("we," "our," or "us").
By subscribing to ArakStudy Pro, you agree to the refund terms outlined in this Policy. Please read this Policy carefully before making a purchase.
2. Subscription and Service Refunds
2.1 General Refund Policy
We offer refunds for ArakStudy Pro subscriptions and Priority Processing purchases under the terms outlined in this Policy. We want you to be satisfied with our service, and we will work with you to resolve any issues before processing a refund when possible.
Refund requests must be made within 30 days of the original purchase date. After 30 days, refunds may still be considered on a case-by-case basis for exceptional circumstances, but are not guaranteed.
2.2 Free Tier
The Free tier of ArakStudy is provided at no cost and does not require payment. As such, no refunds apply to the Free tier.
2.3 Pro Subscription
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly at $15.00 per month on a recurring basis. Refunds for Pro subscriptions are handled as follows:
- 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with your Pro subscription, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial subscription or renewal date. This guarantee applies to your first subscription period and any renewal period.
- No Partial Refunds: We do not provide partial refunds for billing periods. Refunds are only available as full refunds within the 30-day guarantee period or in exceptional circumstances as outlined in Section 3.
- Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled. You are responsible for canceling your subscription before the renewal date if you do not wish to continue. If you are charged after canceling, contact us immediately for a full refund.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. If you cancel and request a refund within 30 days of your last payment, you may be eligible for a full refund of the current billing period.
- Refund Processing: Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days. Your Pro access will be revoked immediately upon refund approval.
Refund Eligibility Terms:
- Full refunds are available for any reason within the first 30 days of subscription
- After 30 days, full refunds may be provided if you experience significant technical issues that we cannot resolve
- Refunds are not available if you have violated our Terms of Service
- Refunds are not available for accounts that have been suspended or terminated for policy violations
- Partial billing period refunds are not available - only full refunds within the eligibility period
2.4 Priority Processing
Priority Processing is sold as one-time purchases ($2.00 for 1 document, $5.00 for 3 documents, or $10.00 for 10 documents). Priority Processing purchases are refundable under the following terms:
- Unused Boosts: If you have unused Priority Processing boosts, you may request a full refund of the purchase within 30 days. Unused boosts are fully refundable as a complete purchase refund.
- Processing Failures: If a document fails to process despite using a Priority Processing boost due to a system error on our part, you are eligible for a full refund of the boost or a replacement boost at your choice.
- Duplicate Purchases: If you are charged multiple times for the same Priority Processing purchase due to a system error, we will refund all duplicate charges immediately.
- Used Boosts: Once a boost has been applied to a document and processing has successfully completed, the boost is considered used and is non-refundable. However, if processing fails due to our system error, the boost will be refunded or replaced.
- No Partial Refunds: For Priority Processing packs (3-pack or 10-pack), partial refunds for unused boosts are not available. If you have used any boosts from a pack, the purchase is considered used and non-refundable. Only completely unused purchases are eligible for refunds.
Priority Processing boosts never expire and can be used at any time. Refund requests for completely unused purchases must be made within 30 days of purchase, though we may consider requests beyond this period on a case-by-case basis.
Important: If you have used even one boost from a Priority Processing pack, the entire purchase is considered used and is not eligible for a refund. Only completely unused purchases (all boosts unused) are eligible for full refunds.
3. Refund Eligibility and Terms
Refunds are available in the following circumstances:
3.1 Satisfaction Guarantee
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for all Pro subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with our service for any reason, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your subscription or renewal date. No questions asked.
3.2 Technical Issues
If you experience significant technical issues that prevent you from using ArakStudy Pro features and we are unable to resolve the issue within 7 days of your report, you are eligible for a full or partial refund. Contact our support team at support@nexoraai.llc to report technical issues. We will work with you to resolve the issue first, but if resolution is not possible, a refund will be provided.
3.3 Duplicate Charges
If you are charged multiple times for the same subscription period or Priority Processing purchase due to a system error, we will refund all duplicate charges immediately upon verification. Please contact us immediately if you notice duplicate charges on your account.
3.4 Unauthorized Charges
If you believe your account was charged without your authorization, contact us immediately. We will investigate and provide a full refund if the charge is confirmed to be unauthorized. We take unauthorized charges seriously and will work to resolve them quickly.
3.5 Service Changes
If we make significant changes to the Pro subscription features or service that materially affect the value you receive, and you are not satisfied with the changes, you may be eligible for a refund of your current billing period. We will notify you of significant changes in advance.
3.6 Legal Requirements
We will provide refunds as required by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction. If you believe you are entitled to a refund under local consumer protection laws, please contact us with details and we will review your request accordingly.
3.7 Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be provided in the following circumstances:
- Accounts that have been suspended or terminated for violations of our Terms of Service
- Refund requests made more than 30 days after purchase without exceptional circumstances
- Priority Processing boosts that have been successfully used (unless processing failed due to our error)
- Abuse of the refund policy (e.g., repeatedly subscribing and requesting refunds)
- Refund requests for accounts that have been inactive for extended periods without prior contact
4. Refund Process
4.1 Requesting a Refund
To request a refund, please contact our support team at support@nexoraai.llc with the following information:
- Your account email address
- The date of the charge
- The reason for the refund request
- Any relevant documentation or screenshots
4.2 Refund Review
All refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We aim to respond to your refund request within 2-3 business days. For refunds requested within the 30-day guarantee period, approval is typically automatic. For other requests, we will review the circumstances and this Policy to make a fair decision.
We reserve the right to approve or deny refund requests based on the circumstances, this Policy, and our Terms of Service. However, we are committed to being fair and reasonable in our refund decisions.
4.3 Refund Processing
If your refund request is approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment provider (typically 3-5 business days for credit cards, 5-10 business days for bank transfers).
Important: Once a refund is processed, your Pro subscription access will be immediately revoked, and you will be moved to the Free tier. Any unused Priority Processing boosts will remain in your account unless specifically refunded.
If you do not see the refund in your account after 10 business days, please contact us immediately so we can investigate.
4.4 Refund Notification
You will receive an email confirmation when your refund has been processed. If you do not see the refund in your account after 10 business days, please contact us.
5. Subscription Cancellation vs. Refund
It's important to understand the difference between canceling your subscription and requesting a refund:
- Cancellation: Stops future charges but does not provide a refund for the current billing period. You retain access to Pro features until the end of your paid period. This is the standard way to stop your subscription without requesting a refund.
- Refund: Returns payment for a billing period, resulting in immediate loss of Pro access. You can request a refund even if you've already canceled your subscription, as long as it's within the refund eligibility period.
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will not be charged for the next billing cycle.
Note: If you cancel your subscription and then request a refund within 30 days of your last payment, you may be eligible for a refund of the current billing period. Cancellation alone does not automatically trigger a refund.
6. Chargebacks and Disputes
If you dispute a charge with your payment provider (e.g., through a chargeback), we may suspend or terminate your account pending resolution of the dispute. We encourage you to contact us directly at support@nexoraai.llc before initiating a chargeback, as we may be able to resolve the issue more quickly.
If a chargeback is found to be invalid or fraudulent, we reserve the right to permanently suspend your account and pursue collection of the disputed amount.
7. Changes to Pricing
We reserve the right to change our subscription pricing at any time. If we increase the price of your subscription plan, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance. You may cancel your subscription before the price change takes effect to avoid the new pricing.
Price decreases will be applied automatically to all subscribers. No refunds will be provided for price decreases that occur during an active subscription period.
8. Promotional Offers and Discounts
If you subscribed using a promotional offer, discount, or coupon code, the refund amount will be calculated based on the actual amount you paid, not the original price before the discount. For example, if you paid $10.00 for a subscription that normally costs $15.00, your refund will be $10.00.
Promotional pricing and discounts are non-transferable and cannot be applied retroactively to previous subscriptions. If you received a discount, you cannot request a refund for the discounted amount.
Priority Processing packs (3-pack and 10-pack) are already discounted compared to individual purchases. Refunds for Priority Processing packs will be calculated based on the per-document value ($2.00 per document) of unused boosts. For example:
- 3-pack ($5.00): If you used 1 boost, refund = 2 unused × $2.00 = $4.00
- 10-pack ($10.00): If you used 3 boosts, refund = 7 unused × $2.00 = $14.00
Note: If you purchased a pack and haven't used any boosts, you will receive a full refund of the purchase price, not the per-document value. The per-document calculation only applies when some boosts have been used.
